MODERN EDGE METAL BAND “UNCROWNED” ON HUNT FOR NEW LEAD SINGER
Atlanta Based Band Secured Global Distribution and Multiple Endorsement Deals

ATLANTA, GA, (April 23, 2013) – According to Spin magazine, “UNCROWNED have a slick sound, endorsement deals, and a potential monster hit…” They have been on the radio all across the nation, on big stages with even bigger bands, and until one has seem seen them live on stage, you haven’t experienced what rock and roll should be all about. UNCROWNED takes chances both lyrically and musically to connect with fans and right now they are searching for a new lead singer to help take the band to the next level within the rock world.

“We are looking for amazing singers with great range and the desire to tour, sell records and expand their music careers,” said founding member and guitarist Jack Andrad.

UNCROWNED has had many successes over the years such as winning the Cabo Wabo, Hard Rock Café, “A Shot at the Cabo Wabo” contest in 2004, and major regional airplay of their single “Devil in My Hand” released in 2007. Their song entitled “Remember Your Ghost,” released late 2007, remained in the top 20 of Sirius Octane for twenty two weeks. In the June 2007 issue of Spin Magazine, UNCROWNED was featured in the article, “The Art of Hustle”.

In 2005 UNCROWNED released their debut album Simple Sick Device. Two singles were released from the album “Queen of New York has been used in various MTV productions and a video was released for “You Deny.” In 2007 their EP, Devils and Angels, was released. The album singles, “Devil in My Hand”, “Believe in Goodbye”, and “Remember Your Ghost” all gained radio success and a video was released for each track. “Remember Your Ghost” remained in the top 20 of Sirius Satellite’s Octane station for 22 weeks in 2008.

UNCROWNED has shared the stage with notable acts such as 30 Seconds to Mars, Fozzy, Thousand Foot Krutch, Hell Yeah, Halestorm, Flyleaf, Puddle of Mud, Drowning Pool, Staind, Theory of a Dead Man, Duece, Rev Theory, Dark New Day, Incubus, Hoobastank, No Doubt and many others. In 2006 they played Van’s Warped Tour, MOBfest, and the Atlantis Music Conference. In 2007 UNCROWNED added South by South West (SXSW) to the list of music festivals, and in 2008 and 2009 UNCROWNED performed at Summerfest, in 2010 at the UpRoar fest in Atlanta and they recently toured with the 2012 UpRoar fest.

The modern edge metal band from Atlanta, GA formed in 2002 with guitarist Jack Andrad, singer Stephen Bazzell, and bass player Stuart Clark, with Scott Sellers joining the line up two years later. The name “UNCROWNED” was taken from a Charles Bukowski poem.
